This Charismatic man, who was educated in Mumbai, initially established his studio in Belgaum and moved to Shimoga to start his first photo setup in Shimoga Dist, called "RAY STUDIO".
He was the first dealer of photo goods from KODAK LTD., Rochester-USA,
and worked to establish the Federation of Indian Photography.
He founded the Shimoga District photographic Association & was elected its First President.
He was elected the first District President of Bharatiya Jan Sangh.
He was an accomplished automobile engineer, homeopath doctor and a sharp shooter.
He learnt Yoga from his Guru, Sri. Raghavendra swamiji at Malladihalli.
He studied painting at J.J School of arts, Mumbai.
He pioneered Oil-portraits and paintings in Malnad District and was the first to introduce a COLOR-FILM lab in Shimoga.
He was also the first to introduce Videography in the District, apart from introducing Karishma Albums, Photo-Framing and Canvas-Printing in Shimoga District.
